Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), called True Cinnamon or Ceylon Cinnamon belongs to the family Lauraceae, native to Sri Lanka formerly known as Ceylon. Although there are other several Cinnamon species are also in the market, the bark derived from Cinnamomum verum is considered of superior quality. 80-90% of the world’s production of this amazing True Cinnamon is being produced in Sri Lanka and is the only supplier of True Cinnamon to the world.
Cinnamon farmers shave the outer bark off the Cinnamon Trees and follow to shave off the inner bark, which is the cinnamon layer used for consumption. Once the inner layer of cinnamon is dried, it naturally curls up into "quills." Those quills are then cut into sticks. We are proud to present to you the premium quality Ceylon Cinnamon (C5 Grade) Sticks produced by the local farmers in Sri Lanka in environmentally friendly biodegradable containers.

Unlike the polytene, plastic and glass, the paper packaging we use only takes 6-9 weeks to decay and helps the environment in the process.
