In July 2008, the Supreme Health Council, based on the clinical study presented, declared that 'without prejudice to the fact that breastfeeding is preferred, where this is not possible, Dolomia water can be used for the preparation of infant formula‘ (Italian Ministerial Decree D.M. 25.07.2008).
