Start-up and maintenance instructions:
Start-up method: After removing the transparent film behind the bird seat, the battery will be energized to operate. To turn off the singing function, please touch the two probes at the same time, or insert the probes into moist soil.
Installation of Friends of Plant: After inserting the probe of Friends of Plant into the soil, the singing should stop after a while. If the singing continues, please water your potted plants. The built-in automatic optical sensor will automatically turn off the singing reminder function at night, but the friend of the plant will still automatically sing when it senses sunlight to indicate that the battery is full.
Note:
The tip of the probe may need to be cleaned regularly with fine sandpaper and steel wool.
Sensitive plants that need to be taken care of carefully: Based on the different humidity trigger points of these plants, please adjust the probe depth carefully. The drier the soil, the deeper the probe needle must be placed.
Fertilization: Friends of Plant can sense the pH value in the soil and detect whether the fertility of the soil is too low. If you continue to sing after watering, check the pH of the soil. Generally, the pH value of indoor plants should be between 3 and 8.
Watering: Watering is required only when the friends of the plant sing once every 15 seconds.
