The third egg test (Day 16th-17th) involves shining light from the pointed side. A well-developed embryo will be larger and completely fill the egg, with minimal light transmission. In contrast, a dead egg will exhibit blurred blood vessels, yellow areas near the air chamber, and an unclear boundary between the egg and the air chamber.
