Instruction:
, The corpularvae isfastened to a brood frame by cutting a whole into the foundation and insertingthe box.
, Remove back cover and insert cell cups.
, Place frame with corpularva (with cellcups in place) in the brood chamber for familiarization- 1-2 days for firstuse. The corpularvae should also be warm when the queen is introduced.
, "Breeder Queen" is introducedto corpularvae and covered with the clear plastic wall (queen excluder design)and placed in the Brood Chamber. One or two frames of brood should be placedadjacent to the frame with the corpularvae. Ensure that at least 8mm space isprovided between the corpularvae and adjacent combs to enable free access fornurse bees.
, Feed the hives 4 days in advance andduring the laying period. Correct feeding for prevailing conditions isessential.
, Under favorable conditions the queenshould lay eggs in the cells within 24 hours.
, Each brown cell cup is put into a cellholder (cream colored) which is then attached to the cell bar by placing overbrown cell fixture, previously attached to frame top bar. Transfer cell cups toqueenless and broodless starter colony.
, After approximately 8 days, when thequeen cells are sealed, each cell can be protected with a roller cage andplaced back into the hives as a natural incubator.
