Planting Instructions:
1.Asparagus has strong adaptability to temperature, it is cold-resistant and heat-resistant, and can be cultivated from sub-cold zone to sub-tropical zone. It is most suitable for temperate cultivation with four distinct seasons and pleasant climate. Asparagus is suitable for sandy loam soil rich in organic matter, and grows well on fertile soil with loose soil, deep soil layer, fertility and water retention, and good air permeability. Asparagus can tolerate mild salt and alkali. Asparagus has a small transpiration rate, a well-developed root system, and is relatively drought-tolerant. However, too much drought during the shoot-picking period will inevitably lead to thin and weak shoots, shrinkage of growth buds, and severe yield reduction. Asparagus is very intolerant to waterlogging, and standing water will cause root rot and death. Therefore, the planting plot should be high dry, and pay attention to drainage during the rainy season.
2. Seed soaking: Before sowing, soak the seeds at 20～25℃ water temperature for 2 days (new seeds soak at 35℃ water temperature for 2 days). Change the water every morning and evening.
3. Sowing: Open field sowing should start at a ground temperature of 10℃ or higher. The ground temperature is above 30℃, which hinders the germination of seeds and the growth of young stems, so it is not suitable for sowing.
