Product description

Himalayan Salt Lamp 3D Pattern

Salt Of Origin:

Millions of years ago, a primordial sea was evaporated by the sun, leaving pristine crystalline salt. Today, this crystal salt, buried deep in the Himalayan Mountains, is mined and processed gently by hand to bring you a salt that still retains the original qualities of this ancient body of water.

Himalayan Salt Lamp: Himalayan Salt Lamps are created out of natural Himalayan Crystal Salt mined from deep below the surface of the earth, often at depths of a mile or more underground. The 84 minerals and trace elements present in Himalayan Crystal Salt give it a unique and vibrant pink color, which is why it is sometimes referred to simply as "pink salt".

Salt lamps' effect: The release of negative ions: laboratories around the world use a variety of different test methods to prove that salt lamp crystals can be emitted to the surrounding ions, and the main is negative ions. Salt lamp absorbs water from the air, and then evaporates, then absorbs water, and then evaporates, alternating reciprocating, continue to produce ions in this process.

How Do Himalayan Salt Lamps Work?

Advocates say the lamps work in two ways:

Pull in particles:

These lamps supposedly attract allergens, toxins, and pollutants to their surface.

Possibly release negative ions:

Some people believe negative ions in the air have health benefits.Ions are molecules that have undergone a change in charge. Negative ions have gained an electron. Positive ions have lost one.

Ions are all around us. Some come from particles from outer space that make their way to Earth. Others form closer to home, from radiation, sunlight, lightning, or the collision of water droplets in a waterfall.

Some people say they feel more refreshed and clear-headed after a storm, a feeling they believe is due to the amount of negative ions in the air. Commercial ionizers and purification systems also produce negatively charged ions to create cleaner and more comfortable indoor spaces.

Himalayan salt lamps supposedly produce negatively charged ions while water molecules from the air attract to -- and then evaporate from -- the warmth of its surface. Those who believe in the health benefits of these lamps give negative ions much of the credit.
