Bev Tools Square Pour Over Filter Paper:

This Bev Tools Square Filter Paper, perfect for use with 1-6 cups Glass Pour over (Chemex) brewers, ensures uniform extraction of coffee flavour and leaves you with a clean brew. It eliminates even the tiniest silt particles as well as bitter elements and oils from the coffee. Made from wood pulp, with no additives, so that you won’t experience any odor or papery taste in your brew. Fully bodied, richer flavor, from less coffee and as strong as you like without bitterness - that's what the Bev Tools filter gives you.

How to use this filter paper:

  • Fold the filter in half and then fold in half again, bringing the two corners together. Place your finger between the 3rd and 4th layer and open into a funnel.
  • Place the funnel in the top portion of the brewer.
  • Put coffee in the filter paper cone. Use one heaping tablespoon per cup of coffee (adjust to personal taste).
  • Pour boiling water slowly to moisten the grounds from the centre outward, while moving in a circular pattern. Wait for about 30 seconds.
  • Slowly start adding more water using the same speed and swirling motion as before, ensuring that water does not come into direct contact with the paper filter.
  • Let it steep for 2-4 minutes.
  • Discard the filter and coffee grounds immediately after brewing.
