What is needed for the charger power to work with our cable?

The power of charger should be ≥ your laptop original adapter output voltage current.

Can we use lower power like 45W charger to charge higher power like 65W laptop?

Not recommended. It will either not charge, or charges slowly.

Can we apply it into more than 100W / 240W?

No. Because the loadpower of cable is 100W / 240W maximum.

Matching tips:

①If the power of the laptop is 90W, it is recommended to use a 100W converter, and the original charger at the input end should have a power greater than or equal to 90W.
