About this item

Solar Digital Incubator For 49 Eggs (with out batteries and solar panels)

The control unit SOLARIS is designed and assembled, entirely in Italy, to ensure the best working of the new River Systems ET EGG TECH 24VDC series incubators.

The incubators are not self-contained and require a 24V DC power supply, which is provided by external devices connected to SOLARIS.

River Solar Incubator Digital 49 Eggs,is the ideal choice not only for all those who want to hatch their eggs in an environmentally friendly and nature-friendly way

Its capacity is up to 49 medium/large eggs or 196 small eggs (e.g. quail).

River Solar Incubator Digital 49 Eggs,is able to absorb solar energy during the day – thus reducing the consumption of electricity from the grid to a minimum – simultaneously recharging the batteries which will then provide the necessary power during the night, remaining active even in the event of a blackout

Product description

River Solar Incubator Digital 49 Eggs, Automatic Eggtech ET- Solaris Incubator, With Ovolvo Egg Turning Unit And Control Panel is an integrated, high-tech system designed by the engineers of the River Systems Research and Development Department. It consists of a control unit that allows the specific incubator to operate connected to various energy sources: not only batteries and mains but also and above all solar panels and fully programmable remotely via the River CovApp. It features a new, larger, more readable display, and its new electronic board is equipped with a higher-performance processor.

PRODUCT DETAILS

  • Online: it is fully remote controllable via wi-fi and River CovApp.
  • Lighting: possibility to illuminate the inside of the incubator via CovApp or incubator controls. it facilitates checking the status of eggs and chicks through the inspection windows.
  • Day counting: the display shows the days of incubation for optimal management of all phases.
  • Turbine speed: possibility of adjusting the turbine speed to 5 different values for better hatching results.
  • Temperature: it can be set from 25˚C to 40˚C.
  • Alerts: ET TOP is equipped with visual and audible alarms that signal any malfunctions, allowing timely intervention. Alarms are also notified via River CovApp.

HOW ET SOLAR CONTROL UNIT WORKS

  • These new incubator models have been designed to work even if the mains voltage is not available. The incubators are not autonomous and require a 24V direct current power supply, which must be supplied by external devices connected to SOLARIS . During the first 2-3 hours of operation, the absorbed power will be about 150W, and it is necessary to make sure that that the external power supply is sufficient.

CONNECTING SOLAR CONTROL UNIT TO THE INCUBATOR

  • Place Control unit to the left of the incubator, on the same level, on a table with a minimum height of 500 mm (1,64 ft) from the floor, in a horizontal, stable and secure position. After connecting the egg turning unit as per instructions supplied with the incubator (see Annex 2 incubator), connect the female IEC power cable on the Control unit to the male IEC power cable of the incubator

CLEANING AND STORAGE AFTER USE

  •  All power sources when not in use, before only any maintenance and cleaning operations. To clean the control unit, use a damp cloth and, if necessary, a mild detergent. Do not use aggressive detergents.
