Lipton Tea: From Tea Garden to Tea Pot
Sold in over 150 countries, the Lipton story began in 1880 when Glasgow-born entrepreneur Sir Thomas Lipton envisioned an opportunity to make tea universally accessible with quality at acceptable prices. Today, Lipton tea sources tea leaves from as many as 35 countries to ensure tealeaf integrity, quality, and freshness. The company also employs tea-tasters -- all of them masters in the harvesting, production, purchase, and blending of more than 3,000 types of tea.
Recipe Idea: Apple Raspberry Green Tea
Apple juice, green tea and raspberry syrup come together with brown sugar and fresh fruit for a sweet and refreshing mix.
Preparation:
- In a small saucepan, heat apple juice and brown sugar just to boiling point.
- Remove from heat and add Lipton 100% Green Tea bag.
- Cover and brew 5 minutes, then remove tea bag.
- Add raspberry syrup then garnish with apple slice, raspberries and mint leaves.
Ingredients:
Apple Juice 1 cup
Brown sugar 1 tsp
Lipton Green Tea 1 bag
Raspberry flavored syrup 1 Tbsp
1 slice of apple
Raspberries as needed.
Mint (picked leaves), for garnish.
