Biologists from the Alaska Department of Fish and game work closely with regional nonprofit hatchery managers to supplement natural production, enahnce juvenile fish survival and maintain healthy, sustainable returns year after year. Feeding naturally in the North Pacific for two years at sea, Wild Alaskan Pink Salmon return home with a delicately blushed meat color and an exquisitely mild flavor. Our unique process involves catching the salmon using purse seine nets, taking them to the cannery, and then removing the skin and bones.
