According to global research, nearly 70% of South African children under the age of six have suffered from dental cavities. Sadly, this can have an impact on their wellbeing, causing them to miss school and experience difficulties eating and sleeping – key factors in the child’s social development. Dental cavities are caused by the consumption of foods that are rich in sugar or starch. Through the accumulation of dental plaque germs, the food then gets converted into acids which weaken the tooth structure over time.

Ingredients

• Dicalcium Phosphate Dihydrate. Helps clean and polish teeth.
• Aqua. Dissolves substances or ingredients.
• Glycerin. Helps to dissolve the ingredients and prevent drying or hardening, keeping the product smooth.
• Sodium lauryl sulfate. Foaming agent to aid in the removal of debris.
• Cellulose gum. Thickening or stabilizing agent providing consistency to the paste.
• Aroma*. Freshens breath and improves a product's taste.
• Sodium Monofluorophosphate. Active ingredient to help prevent cavities.
• Tetrasodium pyrophosphate. Helps to protect from stain build-up.
• Sodium saccharin. A non-sugar sweetener enhancing product taste perception.
• Sodium fluoride. Active ingredient to help prevent cavities

Directions for use

Brush thoroughly with a Colgate toothbrush after each meal, or as directed by a dentist or physician. Children 6 years and younger should only use a pea sized amount, and be supervised by an adult to minimize swallowing. In case of intake of fluoride from other sources consult a dentist or doctor. Do not swallow. Spit and rinse thoroughly after brushing.
